Esther Lee
Clinical Psychologist
BPsycSci, GDipPsychSci, BSocSci (Hon), MClinPsych
Esther is a clinical psychologist and completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of New England (UNE). Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) on an Honours Scholarship, and her honours project was published as part of a wider study on developing a psychometric screener for pregnancy-related anxiety.
Esther has worked clinically in private practice and public health. She provides evidence-based interventions drawing from Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Esther has experience providing treatment to clients presenting with a range of issues including complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. She also has a background working with neurodivergent presentations, including ADHD and autism.
Esther is a warm and sensitive psychologist, who strives to fulfill the privileged part she plays in individuals’ lives with integrity and compassion. She values collaboration and loves to see clients feel empowered.
Esther is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. She is registered to provide Medicare services.
Esther offers consultations in person at our practice in Croydon, and via Telehealth. She consults on Mondays and Tuesdays.
